RECIPE: Vegetable rice with a Mexican touch


You will need:

  • 250g of rice
  • 1 large red paprika
  • 200g of corn
  • 200g of red kidney beans
  • 4-5 pieces of jalapeño rings
  • half a teaspoon of chilli pepper
  • salt
  • oil for frying
Chop paprika and jalapeño, fry them on a pan for 3-4 minutes. Add rice and mix it on a pan for a bit. Add water and let the mixture start boiling. Boil for about 15 minutes and stir occasionally. Add more water if needed, don't let the mixture get dry. Add corn, beans and spices, mix and leave on a low heat for 5-10 minutes, until the rice becomes soft. Voilá!



 Sul läheb vaja:
  • 250g riisi
  • 1 suur punane paprika
  • 200g maisi
  • 200g punaseid kidney ube
  • 4-5 jalapeño rõngaid
  • pool teelusikatäit tšilli pipart
  • soola
  • praadimiseks õli  
Tükelda paprika ja jalapeño, prae pannil umbes 3-4 minutit. Lisa riis ning sega korralikult. Lisa vesi ja lase segul keema tõusta. Keeda umbes 15 minutit aeg-ajalt segades. Vajaduse korral lisa keemise ajal veel vett, ära lase segul kuivaks minna. Lisa mais, oad ja maitseained, sega ning jäta madalale tulele umbes 5-10 minutiks, kuni riis on pehme. Voilá!
