Every year, starting already in late November, we have a Christmas market at the town hall square in Tallinn. However it's one bloody cute place to walk around, I decline to go there before December starts. Yes, I'm excited about all this Christmas stuff and already, slowly-slowly decorating home and baking gingerbread, but seeing the Christmas tree already in its full glory in November is too much (yeah I know it's nothing comparable to UK, where stores are kindly offering Christmas decorations in August already, but still).
So, as today is the first Advent, we decided to go for a walk in old town and check out the Christmas market as well. OK, it was more like me coaxing my poor fiencé out from warm and cosy home, while it's freezing with -11 degrees and he can't dream about anything but escaping back to his home country :D
Well, mission accomplished! We dressed the warmest clothes we had, took camera along and had really nice sunny Sunday walking around in the old town. However Archi still thinks it was way way too cold to have a walk on such a winter day and he shouldn't go out from home before May comes at all, but this is no longer a topic :D
Here are the results!
Happy first Advent, Marzipans!
